When teacher Lewis Chappalear, a National Teacher of the year finalist, and Randy Cailor, a former engineering firm owner come teacher, met at Project Lead the Way this past summer, they had no idea they'd end up collaborating across the country as they worked to solve engineering problems.

Named a top STEM curriculum in the United States, Project Lead the Way has elementary, middle school, and high school programs. Engineering is course of student appropriate for every school that cares about being a 21st century leader. It incorporates many fields of study that are treated separately in other classes but come together in unique problem solving opportunities that excite students and help them see that math, science, technology, and engineering are applicable to every job.
