Genuine appreciation that is timely and meaningful can go a long way in the classroom, between colleagues, and administrators and their teachers. So why don't we show more appreciation? It doesn't have to be hard as Dr. Brad Johnson explains in this simple but inspiring show about taking the time to build relationships. We can do this. Even more importantly, we must.

Dr. Brad Johnson I thoroughly enjoyed this short podcast. The one specific way to encourage others that really stuck with me was to be specific in your encouragement. I do find that broad and general encouragement like “good job,” or “way to go” becomes a bit meaningless, and I want to work to make my encouragement memorable. I will definitely be taking all of these steps with me as I venture out into schools and work with students in teachers. I also loved this podcast because it is something I can use in my everyday life as well.
