For study purposes you can create a fake Facebook profile. Usse this for historical figures, teaching digital citizenship, authors, people in literature. Who you’d like to be in 10 years! Cool assignment.

Hi Vicki,
Thanks for your great daily news digests! The fake Facebook profile sounds like a really fun learning tool.

facebook deletes accounts with fake names such as those of historical figures 🙁
This isn’t a thing to make a real facebook account. It is totally
disconnected from facebook but rather, a graphic design tool to make a fake
one that one can print or turn in to a teacher or embed in a blog. so, it is
a way to make one without making one. Thus, FAKEBOOK. 😉
But yes, you are right and thank you because many may not understand that
either.

I think this is a great way for students to do a ton of projects. All of these kids know facebook like the back of their hand so it gives them a platform to work on. I think kids would love to do this instead of something like a power point or poster project.
Yes. Of course, it isn’t “really” facebook and yet making such a profile does awaken some creativity and learning!
