Kristin Swanson, @kristenswanson Edcamp co-founder talks about edcamps, how to find one in your area, and how the #edcampgift movement in December is an awesome hashtag to follow.

If you work with professional development or are excited about being a connected educator, you’ll want to hear Kristin’s voice and know her because edCamps are becoming one of the most popular (and effective) ways for teachers to share best practices. Kristin is awesome.

I love how she talked about her work with MIT Media Labs and their new “Unhangout” technolgy that runs on top of Google Plus. (Look for quarterly unhangouts online hopefully.)

Vicki focuses on what unites us — a quest for truly remarkable, life-changing teaching and learning. The goal of her work is to provide actionable, encouraging, relevant ideas for teachers, grounded in truth and shared with love.
