Happy Space day! It is May 11th and I didn’t realize it until today. Here are some lesson plans to teach about space. You could always celebrate this next week. There are lots of great websites you can travel into space like Google Sky, Microsoft Worldwide Telescope, or Stellarium – all free.
I love events with good names and this one has a great name. The “great Plant Hunt” is a week that lets students hunt for plants. Here are some lesson plans that you can do with this activity. The highest rated activity is “seeds from the kitchen” that shows kids how to find seeds among the food in their kitchen.”
