ILove: Will Skype Turn my Love Affair with my Itouch into a Lifetime Commitment?

Lots of rumors flying about Skype for the iPhone.  Boy, I'd just be happy to have it on the iTouch — that would be big news.  A phone without phone service!  Thus far, most apps are available for the itouch that are for the iphone.

I'll have to say that my Apple iPod touch 16 GB (2nd Generation) is currently in the running for one of my favorite gadgets of my entire life.  Yes.  My life.

The proof is in my hips (I'm down 14 lbs using the LoseIt! app), my brain (I read the news every night on my itouch and also have Amazon Kindle for it as well), and my life (Google Cal, Contacts, Grocery IQ, Remember the Milk, TouchGoal, Assistant, the Betty Crocker Cookbook, Whitenoise and LockBox all help me run my life so much better,) and entertainment (I manage my NetFlix with PhoneFlix,  look up movies on Flixter, Buy movie tickets on Fandango, Pandora for music, WhatsOn is my TV guide, TwitterFon, Facebook, UrbanSpoon, CheckPlease.)

Really, I don't WANT to make phone calls on it — I am usually talking on my cell and putting things on my calendar, list, or looking at my itouch anyway.

The iTouch is worth every penny and soon, I'll be getting my husband and kids one.  I started using it daily the moment it came out of the box at Christmas and have used it every day since — more and more each day (and my PC less and less!)  That is saying a lot for a woman who can have a short attention span for gadgets.  This one is a life changer and a game changer for technology.  Everyone says IPhone, I say “I touch, baby, all the way!”
