  • ThinkQuest

This fascinating project needs judges (oh and horizon still does too!) — hat tip to David Warlick for this link.

The student web site entries are due in tomorrow (April 2) for the 2008 competition, and ThinkQuest needs people to judge these entries. To be a judge, you must be employed as a teacher or have a minimum of five years experience in the field of education; be proficient in the English language; and be able to, and have the time to evaluate and score websites based on the provided criteria.

  1. Think.com and thinkquest.com are AWESOME sites!!! They are hosted by Oracle corporation and are free to all educators. They offer a way for teachers to post online similar to a blog and share this with their students and give their students their own pages to post to. It is teacher monitorable and expandable to ANY teaching situation. I teach computers and use it DAILY in my classroom and am working on getting some other teachers in my building to use it. It really is a great site.
