Students talking about HIV between Namibia and US Maryland. Namibia has a 25% HIV rate with Baltimore MD 2.5% (washington DC has the highest incidence in the US with 3%). This was presented at the Global Education Conference with Hass and Ussa Blake.

I find it funny that radio stations are concerned because kids are using their cell phones as their alarm clocks in the morning. They could use cell phones as calculators, dictionaries, and translators — oops, I forgot, we don’t allow them in schools.
Some communities and towns are going unplugged and pledging to not use cell phones and/or social media. This is fascinating and actually, I think can be very healthy as we learn to balance technology.
