Facebook Trademark Lawsuit Aims to Limit Use of “Book” by Others – Annotated
“Facebook filed suit against teachbook.com, an online community for teachers. The lawsuit accuses Teachbook of “misappropriating the distinctive BOOK portion of Facebook's trademark.” and says that it “diultes the facebook brandname.”
Teachbook has filed for a trademark and makes a claim of being a “Facebook for teachers,” and that is personally, where I think they may be in trouble. Read more…
