Google moderator is a cool tool to allow you to create a site that allows for moderation of questions, comments, and brainstorming. Looking at using this at the school to help people propose ideas to improve the school.

As an elementary teacher Pi day was not a concept I had ever heard of before. This week there was a write up about it in our local newspaper showing the events our junior high and high school students participated in to celebrate Pi Day. I thought is was a great idea, and I wished the larger district where I teach would participate in similar activities.
Yes – special events and ‘days” are the kinds of things teachers and kids can really get in to. Of course, it is your classroom so I hope you’ll do this as well!
